TransdevTSL - Shorelink Buses to increase services to Sydney’s North Shore region
TransdevTSL - Shorelink Buses and NSW Transport and Infrastructure (NSWTI) today announced new and additional bus services for the North Shore region. The announcement is part of the NSW Government’s plan to better align timetables to passenger’s needs by improving the connections between modes of public transport. The new timetable comes into effect on Monday, 12 October 2009 and includes a new Hornsby Heights/Hornsby to city service (594H) plus increased frequency of services to the city from North Turramurra, St Ives and Killara (594). A NSWTI ‘Shopper Hopper’ initiative will include a Turramurra to North Wahroonga loop service operated by TransdevTSL - Shorelink Buses. The changes include: 594HFour morning services and four afternoon services will operate, Monday to Friday, both to and from the City in response to a growing demand for services in the area. Shopper HopperThis service will operate between 10.20am and 2.00pm Monday to Friday to meet the needs of North Wahroonga residents. TransdevTSL - Shorelink Buses is contracted by NSWTI to provide services in the northern area of Sydney (Region 12), covering both sides of the Pacific Highway from Chatswood to the Hawkesbury River and cross-region services to Macquarie Town Centre.
