Top honour for Brisbane Ferries

TransdevTSL Brisbane Ferries has won the Franco Belgiorno-Nettis (FBN) Award for 2007.

Some of TransdevTSL Brisbane Ferries’ achievements which lead to the win included:

  • 99 per cent of ferry trips running on-time
  • 78 per cent increase in patronage since 2003
  • customer satisfaction consistently averaging at more than 80 per cent, and
  • 93 per cent of employees responding positively in rating their overallsatisfaction in the employee satisfaction survey.

Established in 2001, the Award bears the name of Transfield’s Founding Chairman and recognises a Transfield Services business unit or joint venture which best demonstrates the same focus, innovation and passion for success as Mr Belgiorno-Nettis.

TransdevTSL Brisbane Ferries, General Manager, Mr Greg Balkin, said: “I am honoured to accept this award as it’s a fantastic achievement for the team and is a tangible example of all their hard work and dedication.”
