TransdevTSL wins award for innovative community engagement in Sydney’s North Shore region

TransdevTSL - Shorelink Buses has been recognised for its contribution to the New South Wales bus industry with the Environmental/Innovative Operator of the Year award at the Australian Bus and Coach Show 2009.

The company was recognised for its “Together, we changed” marketing initiative. The initiative includes community engagement, new route and resident campaigns and campaigns to raise awareness based on demographics, key issues and special occasions.

The initiative aims to raise awareness of public transport options in the North Shore region of Sydney.

TransdevTSL - Shorelink Buses is contracted by NSW Transport & Infrastructure, to provide bus services in Region 12. This covers areas along the Pacific Highway from Chatswood to the Hawkesbury River and cross-region services to Macquarie Town Centre. It also covers a Hornsby to City service, via Turramurra. The Company has 97 vehicles and 144 employees servicing 22 routes and three million passengers every year.
