Delivering Your Services

Our Cooperative Model

TransdevTSL works cooperatively with government to provide safe, efficient and reliable public transport services.

We operate and maintain transport systems and supporting infrastructure assets.

The TransdevTSL Cooperative Model is flexible and can accommodate a range of different needs. The way we deliver existing services in Australia is set out below.

Who sets the timetables?

Government service planners work closely with TransdevTSL to deliver convenient and efficient services.

Who sets service standards?

Service levels are set and closely monitored by governments.

Who sets fares?

Fares are set by governments in consultation with government pricing regulators.

Who keeps the fare revenue?

This depends on the government contract, which could allow for the revenue to be shared.

How do we get paid?

We are paid according to how we perform against the service standards set by government and the contract.

Who owns the vehicles and vessels?

This depends on the arrangement with Government. In our current Australian operations, the Brisbane City Council owns the ferries in Brisbane. We own the TransdevTSL - Shorelink Buses' fleet.

We can provide governments with advice on the best vehicle or asset procurement strategies that will deliver the required services efficiently and effectively, based on our experience in operating many other transport systems worldwide.

How do we know what services people want?

We work with the community, government and stakeholders, who give us the information we need to deliver the services people want and need.
